Wild Animal Park San Diego

Occupying an area of 1,800-acres, the Wild Animal Park is an expansive wildlife sanctuary located 56 kilometers north of downtown San Diego, of Escondido. The wildlife preserve is the natural habitat of 3,500 animals representing more than 400 species including 38 endangered species of mammals. The number of endangered species of birds that find their habitat in the park is 11. There is an amazing collection of exotic penguins representing eight different species.

Wild Animal Park in San Diego also has Wgasa Bush Line Railway, which can be used to explore various parts of the park. What sets Wild Animal Park from others is that the animals in the park roam freely in vast expanses, allowing one to interact with another.
